Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
We will make every effort to acclimate a dog to one of our play groups as long as she does not become aggressive toward our staff or other dogs. When this happens, she will be placed in a time-out run or removed from the play group, then attempt to reintroduce her after she has appeared calm and ready to do so. If she continues to show signs of aggression toward other dogs, we may still be able to board her (ask us about our “walks only” program), but she will not be able to return to the play group.
In the rare case a contagious illness comes into the facility by a sick dog, all customers are notified via Facebook (remember to “Like” us so you can follow our daily updates), our website, and posted on our reception desk. We feel that honesty and transparency is the best policy, and we will always be forthcoming if we’re notified that a veterinarian has diagnosed a dog with a contagious sickness and that dog has attended daycare or was boarded during that time.
Our vaccination protocol, combined with our strict cleaning regimen, helps prevent contagious viruses from spreading. Vaccination records for all dogs are verified over the phone with their veterinarian to help in ensure all dogs are up to date at all times.
Please remember, dogs get sick, not the facility. While dogs can get sick from other dogs during daycare or a boarding stay (just like children can at daycare), the benefits gained from socialization and physical activity far outweigh the risks.
